February Monthly Release (Release Date : 01-Mar-2026)
Important: Discontinuing Classic Dashboard and Old Project Layout
Based on prior communication, ProjectsForce 360* recently launched a new dashboard and widget layout with improved UI/UX and added comparison functionality. This will be forcibly rolled out, and the Legacy dashboard will be discontinued in the upcoming release.
The fully customizable project page, allowing admins to select required fields and tabs by role, was beta tested for months and will be forcibly rolled out as the ProjectsForce default layout. The old project layout will also be discontinued in the upcoming release.
Please report immediately to our support team if you have a major blocker or dependency on the old layout to ensure a smooth transition before the release.
UI/UX enhancements for improved experience
Following the recent UI/UX update, ProjectsForce 360* will continue improving the application to enhance your experience. This release includes the following enhancements:
New themes: Green, Pink, and Teal would be added to the initial three options.
Button, input box, dropdown/multiselect, switch/toggle, message, checkbox, and radio button color combinations now align with the selected theme.
To ensure consistency, the UI library will be upgraded for the following modules: Event Logs, Project Details Quick Preview On Map & Scheduler, Merge Clients
New Fields : Important Scheduler Note & Important Technician Note
ProjectsForce 360* will add two new note types: Important Scheduler Note and Important Technician Note. These permission-driven notes are not assigned to any role by default. They highlight crucial job notes that take precedence over pinned or other notes, which can be overlooked in long lists.
To highlight these notes for the back office team, the new web layout includes dedicated fields in the Project Layout (modify the default or create a new layout to add these fields). These fields always show the latest note of each category. All notes remain accessible on the Notes tab, above pinned notes. Users can modify both note types if they have permission.
These notes also appear on mobile devices under Notes tab for users with the required access.
New Feature: Fully Customisable Reminder Popups
ProjectsForce is releasing a feature that gives admins full control to create or modify reminder pop-ups for their team when marking jobs as Check In or Completed.
Admins can configure this feature via Company configuration under Project Management & Linkage → Reminder Configuration. They can set the popup header, assign it to jobs by type and category, define the content, and reuse it for different combinations.
Once configured, users marking job status as Check In (On Mobile) or Completed (On Web or Mobile) will see the reminder popup. If they acknowledge it, the popup won't reappear for that event; if they cancel, it will reappear until acknowledged.
Pick Up locations on the Route
The recently deployed Route Recommendation and Optimization module will now include pick-up locations. If a job requires pick-up and the location is a store or warehouse, the system will add that address's coordinates as an additional stop. The technician will follow an optimized route from the start location, pick up the product at the store or warehouse, proceed to the customer location, complete other assignments, and return to the end location, as guided by Google engines.
Tagging Clients and Projects
ProjectsForce 360* would be adding a dynamic dropdown feature to tag Client and Projects records. Users can create new tags or select existing ones to link with a record to identify. These tags group records for reporting, with values created dynamically by the tenant.
Conversion to dynamic dropdown - Opportunity Type / Project Type
ProjectsForce 360* introduced a feature in the last release that made Client Source, Opportunity Source, Opportunity Status, and Project Status dynamic drop-downs. Continuing this approach, we will now make Project Type a dynamic dropdown.
Users with permission to modify dropdowns will see a new icon next to the field; clicking it opens a pop-up to manage values. Deleting a value marks it as soft deleted. If a value associates with any record, the system highlights it in red. When a record updates with a new value, the deleted value is removed from the list.
Note: Project Category will be added in the next release.
Enhancement on Availability Updates
System would be rolling out an enhancement to overcome a use case where technicians were applying for a time off for multi-days and was missing to click on the Full Day checkbox:
Previously, when leave was applied for multiple days without selecting the multi-day (full-day) option, the system considered the user on leave only between the specified start and end date-time. As a result, the user could still be scheduled for projects during the remaining hours.
The “Full Day Leave” checkbox is no longer mandatory when applying leave for multiple days.
Going forward, when leave is applied for multiple days:
All intermediate days between the start and end dates will be treated as full-day leave.
For the start and end dates, leave will be applied based on the user’s defined working hours for those respective days.
Users can still select any start and end time while applying leave. However, the user’s working hours will now be displayed for the selected date as a reference.
Users are expected to:
Select a start time that is not earlier than their working start time.
Select an end time that does not exceed their working end time.
No changes have been made to blocking time and recurring leaves.
Client Global Search to consider Company Name
In the coming release, the system will allow users to search for clients of type Company using the client-based global search, extending beyond the First Name and Last Name fields used for residential clients.
Item PO # as Search Paramater - Inventory App
In our recently launched new mobile application to manage the inventory, system would now add a new search parameter under the Inventory Adjustments module to search the items based on the Item PO#, along with the other existing filters as : Item, SKU, Type etc.
Lot Number in EPA Lead Section
For the Lowes order, the system will add a new optional field, Lot Number, on web and mobile, visible only when the lead response is positive.
